lots of good friends and wonderful times.!! as I remember, I WORKED alot!! My GAWD.......... then for awhile I was on a bowling league w/ Mr. Dappen (chemistry!!) Thank heavens for him back then because my good background and fondness for the course was the ONLY thing that got me through college!!!

Science classes w/ Mr. Dorai......... chemistry, any thing involving the gym and sports........... Girls sports weren't too much of a 'thing' back then but we did have some intracity competitions.

Bach. Science-Nursing..........UNMC-1975 & tons of hard knocks!!!

Have remained all along in Lincoln.
Spent 20yrs. at Lincoln General Hospital in critical care.
(the whole time we were 'growing up' the trauma center).........
most of that spent as the Head Nurse in ICU.
Then I developed a nationally accredited pet care facility called KENL INN, Inc. Boarding, grooming, DayCare, Training, self service dog wash......and whatever else we can dream up.
Have seen many of you there!! (thank you for your confidence in our services!)
was still in the 'caring' business but different clientele and my OWN bureaucracy!!!

2021........husband died and 33 dys later I sold the business. Not just quite sure WHAT I do. (or who I am!) Fortunately, the 'ol MomDog (AKA 'bitch'),,,,,,,is still welcome to help out at the business so I'm spending alot of time there right now. Hopefully 2022 will bring me opportunities to figure things out and recreate myself. Still messing w/ dogs........ will be attending the AKC National Rally Invitationals at the Master level in July in Ohio.

huh??? spare time??? well, wow,.......... with the loss of my husband and my business.......... I'm slowly learning about spare time. We used to fish in Alaska a couple times a year whenever possible........ now I think its more the dog shows, Horses.......reconnecting w/ old friends........love those simple 'all night' computer games, jigsaw puzzles, sudoku(travels easy in the car!!), ...... and lots and LOTS of changes to the house will come in time.

not much of a traveler...... been alot of places but really am just a homebody!!

oh, geez...........Alaska.....however far that is. it has become our "go to" place. try to make it at least 2x/yr.
?? maybe Cayman Islands. if that's farther??

Movies are a waste of time.

so is TV.......... I gravitate to the History, Weather, Animal Planet, Science, & news channels
hmmmm............ haven't had the radio or the TV on since Ben's been gone.

oh, pooh.........way too many good ones to have a favorite but one I rely on and resort to often is something to the effect that ...."the barn might be on fire but as long as you aren't IN the barn then not to worry" and then that's usually followed by "take a deep breath", "refocus, and get w/ the priorties that ARE important".........or something like that!!

thinking that this is just a pretty cool site. Its fun to 'revisit' and see what everyone is up to!!
