In the spring of our senior year very late one Saturday evening, Maren Hansen and I "borrowed" a "For Sale" sign from a random home. We took it along with a camera and flash, planted the sign in the front yard of the Governor's (Jim Exon at the time) Mansion and fired away. My father was mortified but everyone else thought it was hilarious. I still have a copy.

I retired from firm practice in May, 2009, and I fully retired in 2012.

Primarily, being with my family. Both Michael and I and Leah and I have a rule that we must see one another at least once each calendar quarter. And, if we happen to see one another twice in the same calendar quarter, the concept of "carry-over" isn't part of "the deal".
I am blessed with wonderful relationships with Michael and Leah, and their respective spouses, Betsy and Jonathan, along with my three grandchildren.

Continue to watch my children thrive and, to watch my grandchild(ren) thrive as well.
