Rod and I became close friends in Pound Junior High School, probably because of the love of vintage cars. There was a guy who lived in Cheney that had a salvage yard with which we'd go out and walk through dreaming of fixing one of those old cars up! Rod especially had a fondness of European made cars. Later at Southeast we both worked at the A&W drive inn at 48th and Van Dorn ,boy there are stories I could tell you about that! Thanks to Rod, I met my lovely wife Connie.

You will be greatly missed Rod, Rest in peace.

I met Rod when we were little kids; always liked him.  His Mom had a hair salon (in their house), went by the name of 'Fannie' and she did my Mom's hair.  They lived across the street from College View Presbyterian Church on Prescott.  Rod and I would play together while his Mom was doing my Mom's hair.  Lost touch with him sometime in grade school (Calvert Elementary).  My condolences to his family.
